Green Day, Blink-182, Fall Out Boy and Alice Cooper have all reacted to harsh words posted about them on Twitter.

The rockers are among a plethora of music stars who appeared on the latest Mean Tweets segment of American chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live this week; where celebrities read out comments internet trolls have written about them.

On the fourth all-music edition, Alice Cooper is the first rock star to appear reading out a tweet where he’s compared to a scrotal sack.

Elsewhere, Blink-182 can’t contain their laughter as they’re deemed the musical equivalent of herpes, while Green Day read a tweet about them having less talent than the contents of a toilet bowl.

However, undoubtedly the funniest comment is reserved for Fall Out Boy – aka ‘the Comic Sans MS of music’. Watch their reactions here:

From outside the rock sphere, other musicians who feature include Depeche Mode, Pink, Usher, Nick Jonas, Niall Horan, TLC, Adam Levine, Erykah Badu and Meghan Trainor.
